How to Reduce No-Shows with Deposit Software

  2. Refund window — full refund if cancelled 24h+ in advance, half refund within 24h, no refund on no-show.
  3. Enforcement — charged automatically by the booking flow. Never left for the owner to chase.

Conversion worries

When a customer pushes back on the deposit, the script that works is a variation of: "The deposit goes toward the total. It just reserves the slot and protects the crew from dry runs — we see a lot of them in this area." Most customers agree the moment you frame it as a slot reservation, not a trust issue.
